Premium Cinema Talent, in its first edition, is the recognition that the Mediaset Premium Cinema channel has decided to assign to an actor or actress who has shown particular talent in cinema, theater and television. The award was given to Filippo Timi for this first edition.

The Award is a a work a art titled Celata by the Venetian artist Andrea Morucchio.The decision to assign the Premium Cinema Talent to Filippo Timi has the following motivation: 

"The Premium Cinema Talent is awarded to Filippo Timi in recognition of the particular qualities of eclecticism and widely demonstrated versatility. Distinguishing himself in every occasion for always intense and convincing interpretations, Filippo Timi has always been able to make the most of the constraints imposed by the expressive context, both in the case of theater and cinema. Always consistent with himself, but capable of diametrically opposed interpretations, Filippo Timi perceives a fundamental identity that is expressed in diversity.

Hence the decision to reward him with a work by the artist Andrea Morucchio, Celata: a sculpture depicting Attila's 14th-century helmet, a symbol of repeated returns, of unchanged conditions, beyond the different times and places of the historical-temporal proceeding.

The helmet of the warrior, like the mask of the artist, conceals what is most intimate and remains preserved in the battle as in the performance, in front of the other eyes of those who assist and meet. Value and stability through time and space: always the same and always different, the artist as the warrior, overcomes the fragmentary nature of the present remaining firm in its essence."

Premium Cinema Talent, alla sua prima edizione, è il riconoscimento che il canale Cinema di Mediaset Premium ha deciso di assegnare a un attore o a una attrice che abbiano dimostrato particolare talento nel cinema, in teatro e in televisione. Il riconoscimento è stato assegnato per questa prima edizione a Filippo Timi. Il Premio è realizzato dall’artista veneziano Andrea Morucchio.La scelta di assegnare il Premium Cinema Talent a Filippo Timi ha la seguente motivazione: 

“Il Premium Cinema Talent viene assegnato a Filippo Timi come riconoscimento delle particolari doti di eclettismo e poliedricità ampiamente dimostrate. Distinguendosi in ogni occasione per interpretazioni sempre intense e convincenti, Filippo Timi ha sempre saputo sfruttare al meglio i vincoli imposti dal contesto espressivo, sia che si trattasse di teatro che di cinema. Sempre coerente con se stesso, ma capace di interpretazioni diametralmente opposte, si percepisce in Filippo Timi una fondamentale identità che si esprime nella diversità”.

Da qui la scelta di premiarlo con un’opera dell’artista Andrea Moricchio, Celata: scultura che raffigura l’elmo di Attila del XIV secolo, simbolo di reiterati ritorni, di immutate condizioni, al di là dei diversi tempi e luoghi del procedere storico-temporale. L’elmo del guerriero, come la maschera dell’artista, cela ciò che di più intimo rimane e si conserva nella battaglia come nella performance, di fronte allo sguardo altro di chi assiste e si fa incontro. Valore e stabilità attraverso il tempo e lo spazio: sempre uguale e sempre diverso, l’artista come il guerriero, supera la frammentarietà del presente rimanendo saldo nella sua essenza.
