In the video animation, various square surfaces are montaged, showcasing different arrangements of the portraits. The positions of the two portraits alternate and swap, creating a dynamic visual experience.

The project involves coloring and transforming the original photographic portraits of the chosen figures, recreating them with intricate butterfly wing pieces.

A selection of characters includes Marilyn Monroe, Mao Zedong, and Muhammad Ali—individuals whom Warhol himself depicted in his portraits nearly half a century ago. These iconic figures transcend their respective fields, leaving an indelible mark on popular culture and society as a whole.
